MEET HONEY SOL.
Honey Sol is a power trio based in Annapolis, MD that plays in DMV area. This funk, rock, R & B band based out of Annapolis formed in 2018 and the band can be hired for a variety of shows from local bars, festivals, corporate events, and weddings. The trio can also add keys and horns depending on space and budget or play as an acoustic duo.
WE LIKE TO PLAY.
HONEY SOL is not like other trios, and you might notice why. They all look similar, but since they are family, that isn’t too surprising. Their music sounds like it would take 5 or more people to play, but it’s just the three of them.
Plus, Mac’s unique voice can fill a room like a choir. Mac (Vocals & Bass), and her brother Andrew (drums) have played many projects together.
Later they recruited their dad Lee on guitar making leaps and bounds in the local music scene. With Mac’s soulful voice and growling bass lines, locking in with Andrew’s heavy groove, and Lee’s guitar feel, their Funk, Soul, Rock & Roll, and R&B can get anyone moving at a bar.

The band's original music works for any audience and will leave the crowd wanting for more. Mac’s writing style pulls from the music and lyrics in the style of Lake Street Dive, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sara Bareilles, Vulfpeck to name a few.
Plus, if you need a whole night of music, they bring hundreds of eclectic mastered tributes to the stage, with favorites spanning from the last 70 years.

The band is in the process of recording their debut record and are itching to take their originals to venues in new areas.
